In SignNow, you can control the signing order so documents are signed in sequence rather than all at once. This ensures smoother workflows and greater accountability. For example, you may want a contract to be signed by a client first, then reviewed by a manager, and finally approved by legal. In HR, an employee might complete onboarding forms before they go to payroll for final approval. In finance, invoices can be signed by a project lead before routing to an accounting team. Setting up a signing order guarantees that each step happens in the right sequence, preventing errors and ensuring compliance with internal processes.

How to Set Signing Order in SignNow
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The signing order can be set only after editing the form (adding all necessary fields and signing roles). When it's done, click the Invite to Sign option in your account or Continue from the editing mode to proceed to the Invite Page.
On the Invite Page, toggle the Recipients receive document in order option. Use the numbering system or drag-and-drop to arrange signers in the exact sequence you want.
Example: Signer 1 > Signer 2 > Signer 3.
Once everything is set, click Send Invite to First Recipient. The document will now follow the order you specified—Signer 2 won't receive it until Signer 1 has completed their part, and so on.
