Overview
If your packet is a scanned or pre-designed form, style the Text fields so the typed answers look native to the page. Match the font size to the surrounding print (often 10–12 pt), set alignment (left/center/right) to mirror the line or box, and adjust text color to a neutral dark gray/black so it doesn’t look “pasted on.”
Formatting & customization
Formatting options in SignNow include:
Fonts customization: Arial, Times New Roman, Courier New, Tahoma, Comic Sans MS
Font size: 8-72
Text decoration: bold, italic, underlined
Alignment: left, center, right
Color
📝 Formatting options are available for both Fill Out Now and fillable fields. Pre-filled Text fields (formerly Smart Fields) cannot be customized.
Use the crossed-T icon to quickly clear formatting.
Some fields that are not text-based are resized differently by placing a field on the document and dragging it by its corner: checkbox, radio buttons, attachments, stamps, signature, and initials.
