Overview
If your packet is a scanned or pre-designed form, style the Text fields so the typed answers look native to the page. Match the font size to the surrounding print (often 10–12 pt), set alignment (left/center/right) to mirror the line or box, and adjust text color to a neutral dark gray/black so it doesn’t look “pasted on.”
Formatting & customization
Formatting options in SignNow include:
Fonts customization: Arial, Times New Roman, Courier New, Tahoma, Comic Sans MS
Font size: 8-72
Text decoration: bold, italic, underlined
Alignment: left, center, right
Color
Fields customization is available for:
Fillable: Text, Number, Date and Time, Formula, Dropdown, Currency, Full Name, Phone Number, Email, State, ZIP, SSN, RTN, Age.
Me (Fill Out Now): Text, Today's Date, My Full Name, My Email.

📝 Formatting options are available for both Fill Out Now and fillable fields. Pre-filled Text fields (formerly Smart Fields) cannot be customized.
Non-text-based fields like checkbox, radio button, attachment, stamp, signature, and initials are resized differently: place the field on the document, then drag it by one of its corners.
