When using a template invite link, you may receive dozens or even hundreds of signed copies. Without unique names, it can be difficult to locate the right one. For example, HR teams handling employee onboarding forms or schools collecting signed permission slips may struggle to track documents if all are saved with the same default title. Renaming each document makes it easier to organize, search, and retrieve the right file when needed.

Template Invite Link Settings
1. Locate the template that you want to set up the invite link for and hit the Create Invite Link button on its right side.
📝 You can set custom names for documents generated from your template only when using a guest invite link. In this case, the template has one dynamic signing role, and the signer can join the session and sign without receiving an email invite. 2. In the Create Invite Link pop-up, enable the Document Names Are Generated From Field Data setting and select the field/-s that the data will be pulled from into the document name. Don't forget to hit the Save button afterwards to ensure that the changes are applied.
