Enhancements to Signing Reason Capture and Signature Stamp Compliance (CFR 21 Part 11) (12/15/2025)
We’ve released improvements to how SignNow captures and displays Signing Reason information to ensure full alignment with FDA CFR 21 Part 11 requirements.
With this update:
Signers can be required to provide a Signing Reason during the signing session.
The signer’s identity and Signing Reason are now displayed directly on the signature and initials stamp.
This information is visible in all document viewing modes within SignNow.
The Signing Reason and signer details are also preserved during export to external systems.
These enhancements strengthen compliance for regulated industries by ensuring transparent, traceable, and audit-ready signature attribution across all signature workflows.
Collect Payments on Document Groups (12/17/2025)
You can now request and collect payments directly on Document Groups. Add payment fields to any document within the group and streamline billing by collecting all payments in one signing flow. This update makes managing paid agreements simpler and more consistent.
