Change Your Password in SignNow

Update or reset your SignNow password, including Google/Microsoft logins.

Updated over 2 months ago

You can change your SignNow password any time from your account settings, or reset it if you’ve forgotten it. In this article, we’ll walk you through both options: updating your password from My Account (when you know your current one) and using Forgot Password (when you don’t). We’ll also cover special cases for Google/Microsoft social logins, basic password requirements, and what to do if the reset email doesn’t arrive.

Make sure you’re signing in to the correct SignNow environment (US or EU). These environments are separate and not interconnected: an account created in EU won’t work in US with the same credentials unless you specifically register in the US environment.

📝 If you are using SSO, you’ll reset your password with that provider instead; SignNow can’t change it for you.

Login Page

1. Tap the Log In option on the signup page.

2. Tap the Forgot Password option on the login page.

After you tap Forgot password, SignNow emails a reset link to your account address. Open the email, click the link, and set a new password (you’ll enter it twice). The link is single-use and time-limited—if it’s expired or you requested multiple times, use the newest email.

Check Spam/Junk, Promotions/Updates, and “All Mail,” and search your inbox for “password reset” or “SignNow.” Ensure you have typed the correct account email, and then request another reset if needed.

Account Settings

1. Navigate to the Account menu through the left-side panel.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit the Change Password option.
