In-person signing lets you host the signing on your iOS or Android device when you and the signer are together—cutting email delays and login friction. Open the document in the app, start in-person mode, pass the device for review and signature, and finish in seconds. Ideal for front-desk check-ins, retail counter forms, clinic consents, delivery handoffs, field-service work orders, and walk-in HR paperwork.

Please make sure to upload your document to your SignNow account first. Alternatively, you can upload and set up your form through the web version of SignNow.

1. When you upload a form to SignNow app, you will be redirected to a page where you will be prompted to select whether you are going to self-sign or add some fields for other recipients. If you need to sign the document with someone else, please select the Myself and Others option.

2. On the next page, set the number of recipients that will sign the form with you and hit Save and continue.

3. You will be redirected to the editing mode. To add your own signature or text, tap Annotate at the top, then use the bottom toolbar to place Signature, Text, etc. To add fields for signers, use the role selector to switch recipient roles, then add the required fields from the bottom toolbar for each role.

4. Once you are done editing the form, hit the three buttons at the top right side and select the Save Document option (for one-time use) or Make Template (if you plan to use the same form for different signings).

1. Navigate to the document/template that you want to self-sign with other recipients > tap on it and select the Sign Document/Template option. Pass the form to the recipient/-s: they need to hit the Start signing button to navigate to fields and enter the required data.

2. When the form is signed by all parties, hit Done > Finish Signing to name the final version of the form and complete the signing session. Alternatively, you can use Share, Send by Email or Print options to distribute the signed copies right away.
