Easily Delete Your Account

Considering leaving? Contact Support first, or follow this guide to delete your SignNow account.

Updated yesterday

Before you delete your account, we’d love a chance to help. Many concerns—billing, features, plan fit, usage limits, or technical issues—can be resolved quickly by SignNow Support (Live Chat or Support Ticket at https://helpcenter.signnow.com/en/).

If you decide to proceed, this guide covers how to start deletion, what to do before you delete (export documents, transfer Organization/Workspace ownership, cancel app-store billing), and what happens after deletion (permanent loss of access, removal of stored data per policy, revocation of API tokens, and impact on pending invites). Deletion is irreversible, so please review the checklist carefully.

📝 Only the account owner can delete an account: for security reasons, Support cannot delete it for you. Deletion is permanent: all stored documents and personal data in SignNow will be erased and access revoked. This cannot be undone. Back up your files: move any critical documents to your computer or a connected cloud storage before deletion.

Before you delete

  • Export documents you want to keep (signed/completed files, templates, logs).

  • Leave Teams and Organizations/Workspaces you own or belong to (details below).

  • Cancel your subscription before deleting your account. If you purchased via an app store (Apple/Google), cancel the subscription there—it’s managed outside SignNow.

How to delete your account

  • Leave or transfer your SignNow Workspace

What happens after deletion?

  • Your documents, templates, and personal data stored in SignNow are permanently removed in line with our retention policies.

  • Any API tokens/sessions are revoked.

  • Invites sent to your deleted email won’t be deliverable to your account.

  • We issue data deletion notices to integrated third-party processors we use (e.g., payment providers, Salesforce). These partners delete data within their own systems; SignNow cannot access or accelerate deletions inside those platforms.
